Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Durabilt DuraLift half ton chain hoist. This is going to allow you to raise and lower your loads from your truck or trailer. This does have a maximum lift height of 10 feet, so it is gonna be great for your overhead lifting situations. And it's got a safe working load limit of a half ton or about 1,100 pounds.
The proof load limit, the weight rating that it's been tested to before it would have and experience any issues is 1,653 pounds. It does have heat-treated spur gears that provide a pull to rated load of 41 point, sorry, 45.1 pounds. And does have this grade 80 tempered alloy steel load chain, so it is gonna be very strong on the top. And on the, the end of our load chain, we are going to have these hooks. These hooks will allow us to very easily clip onto our straps or whatever we have wrapped around our load.
So, the opening here for these hooks, if you have this tab left on, you're gonna have about 7/8 of an inch clearance between there. If you take that off, it does have a bolt and a nut on there. You can take that off. Your maximum hook opening would be about 1 1/8 of an inch. These do swivel, so you can get lots of different orientations, make sure that the load is gonna be nice and secure for you.
It is very easy to raise and to lower these. It is going to meet or exceed the S, ASME B30.16, the HST-ZM, and the ANSI standards for design and production, so you can trust this is gonna do a good job for you. Even 10 feet up in the air, just hook it onto your gear and you'll be ready to go. So, that's gonna complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com.
