Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for a 2007 Chevy Express Van to Fight Death Wobble.

Question:

This is the only stabilizer I have found on the market.. My van is not a motorhome, just a cargo van that occationly gets death wobbleinch in the steering wheel. I am replacing steering components, but these vans are known for this issue and I want a little extra protection. Your add says that the steering will return to center if i let go of the steering wheel. I dont want it to. I just want dampening in both directions. Is the coil spring removable.? Im assuming that the spring is the reason for the steering to return to center in either direction. If I remove the coil ,does the shock itself have dampaning in both directions.. I guess I really only need the mounting hardware, but I dont think you sell only that. Cause I could find a dampening shock for it. Thank for your time

I spoke to my contact at Roadmaster and he informed me that to combat your death wobble they recommend you first start with a rear anti-sway bar like the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1109-175.

He said that should fix your problem, but if not you next would want to get a Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer # RM-RBK17-RSSC that you referenced. My contact at Roadmaster did not recommend removing the coil either.
