High Low Adapter for 5-1/2 inch Coach/Toad Height Difference
Question:
I am having to purchase a Hi-low hitch for my 2017 F150 FX4 which weighs 4894Ibs. I have a 5 1/2inch difference between my Coach receiver and my baseplate. I think I need a 4inch hitch to help to correct this, but will the 5000 pound rated hitch be sufficient or will I need the 10,000 pound rated hitch?

A 4 inch high-low adapter would be correct for a tow bar/base plate height difference of 5-1/2 inches since you basically just have to get within 3 inches of level. So for that the Roadmaster part # RM-048-4 would work great as it is the correct rise/drop and has a 10,000 lb total weight capacity.
