this product AKEBRK-7-SA vs this product 23-464-465 the dexter ones are TWICE the price of the Axle Tec.....any reason to spend that extra money?

Expert Reply:
Dexter brake assemblies like the # 23-464-465 are widely considered to be the best and highest quality trailer axle/suspension components which is why they cost more than the # AKEBRK-7-SA. Some of the quality difference wouldn't make much of a difference but if you wanted the absolute best to help you sleep better at night the Dexter is the way to go but the # AKEBRK-7-SA is also really solid and we've not known it to have any issues. If it was my money that's what I would go as the value is unbeatable.
