Question:
Why Fastway FA94-00-0800 instead of Blue Ox? Blue ox does not use friction for sway control. Thank you

There are definitely a lot of different types of weight distribution hitch and they will each offer their own benefits and short comings. Some decisions are based on price point, some just want the best. One thing I have noticed is a lot of decisions are based on previous use experience or what they know to be a solid product.
The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA94-00-0800 does use a friction type sway control that some, myself included prefer to use. This physically is reducing sway from occurring by creating friction between the sway bars and sway brackets.
The Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution # BXW1000 uses weight tension to reduce sway. There is no physical device to reduce sway only spring tension which causes some to be skeptics of how it actually works. A lot of this has to do with most chain style weight distribution systems requiring the use of a additional Friction Sway Control # 17200 to reduce sway. I have linked a video below from Blue Ox explaining how their system is different than the rest.
