If you have the non-hybrid 2020 Honda CR-V I have two hitch receivers that I recommend. Each of these hitch receivers are Class III hitch receivers and have a maximum tongue weight of 525 lbs and a maximum gross trailer weight of 3,000 lbs.
The first hitch receiver is the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2", part # e98848. This hitch receiver comes with a matte black powder coated finish. I prefer this finish because I find it is harder to see scratches on the matte black. It comes with the necessary hardware for installation.
The second hitch receiver is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2", part # C13397. It comes in a gloss black powder coated finish and it has the same maximum tongue weight and maximum gross trailer weight as the etrailer hitch receiver.
If you plan on attaching any accessories to your hitch receiver, the distance between the center of the hitch pinhole and the edge of your bumper is important. This distance lets you know how much room your accessory needs to have in order for it to fit your vehicle. Those measurements are as follows.
Distance From Center Of Hitch Pinhole To Edge Of The Bumper
etrailer hitch - 2-1/2"
Curt hitch - 3-1/2"
Distance From Ground To Top Inside Edge Of Receiver Opening
etrailer - 14-1/2"
Curt hitch - 14-1/2"
I have included product description links, video installation links below.
