Correct Replacement for Disc Brake Demco DA66B Actuator

Question:

I am needing to replace a Demco DA 66 B. I see that model is no longer available. My trailer has disc brakes. Is this hitch compatible? Will I need to alter hole patterns, brake lines etc or will it fit the same as my old hitch?

Expert Reply:

The correct replacement for a Demco DA66B Actuator is the Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator part # DM62VR. This will be a direct bolt-on replacement for the existing model, no drilling required. It uses a three hole pattern but the two holes will match the ones you have now and you can choose to drill the third lower hole or just use the top two. There are only two required. The brake line fittings will be the same.
