Replacement Brake Assemblies and Hubs/Drums For a 2015 Jayco White Hawk 27RBOK

Question:

What brake assembly would you recommend? I need drums bearings etc. As well as shoe assembly. Again it is for a 2015 Jayco Whitehawk 27RBOK travel trailer.

For your 2015 Jayco White Hawk 27RBOK I recommend our etrailer Self-Adjusting Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA. These self adjusting brake improve braking feel and extend the life of your brakes as they keep all 4 hubs in close adjustment for even braking across all brakes.

For the hubs/drums you will want to verify that your current hubs match. You will likely need the Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-555-35-EZ-K. You need to verify that your current axle has a 5 on 5-1/2" lug pattern and uses an inner bearing # L68149 (1.378" inner diameter), outer bearing # L44649 (1.063" inner diameter) and a grease seal # 58846 (inner diameter- 1.719" outer diameter- 2.565"). The numbers are generally stamped on the parts or you can use a Digital Caliper # PTW80157 to measure your spindle. I have attached an image for the measurement points and location of part numbers on the bearings and seal.

If you do not already have a grease zerk on your spindle for easy grease filling you can use a set of Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors # BB1980A-SS on each axle that will allow you to ensure that your hub is filled with the proper amount of grease at all times. For grease I recommend the LubriMatic LMX Industrial Strength Grease # L11390 as it is formulated to be water insoluble as well designed for high pressure applications that endure a lot of stress.
