Does Vehicle Battery Need To Be Disconnected When Installing 7-way Upgrade Kit ETBC7L?

Just to be sure, I do not need to disconnect the battery before I hook up from circuit to the battery? Thanks.

When installing the 7-way Upgrade Kit for Wireless Trailer Brake Controllers # ETBC7L you do not need to disconnect the battery due to only one wire (The black power wire) getting connected to the battery.
I recommend connecting the 4-way connector on your vehicle to the 4-way connector on the # ETBC7L and then run the power wire to the positive terminal of the battery.
Depending on the trailer hitch receiver you choose for your vehicle you may need a no-drill mounting bracket # 18136.
