Recommended Bike Rack To Carry 48lb E-Bike With 2021 Ram Promaster 3500
Question:
I have an e-bike Townie Go 7d. It weighs approximately 48 pounds w/o the battery. My second bike is a regular hybrid bike weighing 31 pounds. I have the Thule Elite Van XT on my 2021 Promaster 3500. Will it work for my bikes?

I have a different option for you, but since your Townie E-Bike weighs 48lbs it is not compatible with your Thule Elite Van XT as the rack can only accommodate bikes weighing up to 42lbs each.
To be able to carry your 48lb bike you will need to add a trailer hitch receiver like # e99AR and then you can add the Saris Freedom Bike Rack # SA4412B-FB which works with bikes weighing up to 60lbs each.
