The Brophy Ball Mount, part # EA40, will fit 2-inch hitch receivers. As long as your hitch receiver is a 2-inch size (and all hitches that we offer for your truck are this size) then this ball mount will fit and will provide you with some height adjustment capability for matching the heights of your hitch ball and trailer coupler.

This ball mount provides a choice of either a 4-inch rise or a 3-inch drop in height relative to the top of the receiver opening. It carries an 8000-lb gross towing weight rating (GTW) and an 800-lb tongue weight rating (TW). When selecting a hitch ball for use with this ball mount, be sure to choose one that has a 1-inch diameter shank (to match the 1-inch ball hole on the ball mount). The size will be on a safety sticker or stamped into the coupler itself.

It is also important that its weight rating is sufficient for your tow load. Do note that the hitch receivers we offer for your truck are all rated for up to 5000-lbs maximum towing weight. I have included a link to just those ball mounts rated at this same 5000-lb capacity.

If you need greater rise or drop to level your trailer you can choose a different ball mount using the other link provided. The link will take you to our main page for ball mounts that fit a 2-inch hitch receiver. You can narrow the product results using the filters at the left hand side of the page. You can filter based on the type of ball mount (fixed versus adjustable), by the weight capacity, by material and also by amount of rise or drop. For example, we offer a Curt ball mount with 4-inch rise and 6-inch drop, part # D-28. This particular ball mount is rated for 6000-lbs GTW and 600-lbs TW; it accepts a hitch ball with a 1-inch diameter shank.
