Replacing Trailer Buddy 32220 Reverse Solenoid on Ranger Boat Trailer

Question:

I have a Ranger boat trailer with surge disc brakes. The whole system is about 12 years old - Tie-Down 70LP surge actuator, Trailer Buddy 32220 reverse solenoid, and Tie-Down 46304 calipers. One of the calipers is sticking and causing the rotor to overheat. I had a trailer repair guy look at it and he suggested replacing all three components. I can do the actuator/master cylinder and calipers myself without much trouble, But I understand that the solenoid part is no longer made. The one I have mounts on a steel plate protruding from the trailer frame and is located about two feet from the actuator. Ive been told that it can be replaced by UFP part 34500, but that part does not have the two holes on the bottom of the switch to mount it from underneath. Ill attach pics of my mine - one from the top and the bottom. My question is....Do you have any suggestions for mounting the switch so that it doesnt bounce around, which Im afraid will cause leaks at the connection points. Ignore the obvious brake fluid on the switch in my pics. I unscrewed the top to see if I could get to the inside to perhaps clean it.

We actually have the Brake Buddy 32220 reverse solenoid available with the Titan Solenoid Valve Replacement Kit # TK71-755-00. The solenoid itself would be an exact replacement and it features the two mounting holes at the bottom like you described (see attached images).

You will be able to use this with your existing mounting bracket without issue. I have included a short video review below that you can check out as well.

The Solenoid Valve Replacement Kit # TK71-755-00 comes with the solenoid, a rubber fitting to install it, as well as some zip ties. This is as close to it being just the solenoid as you're going to get.
