Can I Mount A Pioneer Platform To A Malone AirFlow 2 Roof Rack
Question:
I have Malone aero bars MPG216. Can I mount this RR42101BF using the t-slots on top of the aero bars? What fit kit do I need? Thanks.

There are only two Pioneer Platforms designed to attach directly to the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aerobars. The are the Rhino-Rack Universal Pioneer Platform Rack for Crossbars - Aluminum - 48" Long x 38" Wide, part # RR42114BF, and the Rhino-Rack Universal Pioneer Platform Rack for Crossbars - Aluminum - 58" Long x 47" Wide, part # RR42115BF. Neither of them have been test fit for the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack - Aero Crossbars - Raised, Factory Side Rails - Aluminum - 58" Long, part # MPG216, but if the spacing is correct the Pioneer Platform will attach to the Malone crossbars.
If you take a look at the diagrams below you will notice the t-channels in the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aerobar and the Malone AirFlow Aero Crossbars are the same size. I have included a mm to inch conversion for some of the measurements of the Malone crossbar.
21.15mm = 0.83-inch
11.45mm = 0.45-inch
7.35mm = 0.28-inch
The t-channels are the same size, so this Pioneer Platform will mount to your Malone aero bars.
