Recommended Replacement For A Youngs Welding Short Pin Box
Question:
We have a 1997 Nuwa Snowbird SE102 33 + 2 5th wheel travel trailer. The pin box is a YOUNGS. The manufacturer name is the only data that I can make out. It hangs straight down as depicted in the literature for a short pin box. Looking for a cussoned pin box that moves the king pin 12 inches toward the truck. One that just bolts up.

If you have a Youngs Welding Short pin box on your 1997 Nuwa Snowbird SE102 M-33+2 then you can replace it with the MORryde Cushioned 5th Wheel Pin Box for 14K to 16.4K Trailers w/ Youngs Welding Short # MR86TR. This upgraded cushioned model pin box that dampens road shock and reduces back-and-forth chucking for a more relaxed towing experience. Unlike air bags, the internal rubber spring requires no maintenance.
