Will the Hopkins Plug-In Simple 41155 Fit a 2014 Chevy Express

The dealer apparently removed the hitch and external wiring to hook up a trailer. I bought a Curt 55540 but my husband is wanting to use the plug that is under our van instead of pulling off the trim inside. Car quest seems to have no idea what we’re asking for. Is this the adapter we need?
