Recommended Trailer Suspension Enhancement For Single Axle Utility Trailer Towing Polariz RZR

Question:

Im pulling a Polaris RZR 4 seater on a 14foot single axle underslung utility trailer. The trailer is swaying a lot at highway speeds, especially when I hit bumps or any irregularities on the road. When the trailer is loaded, I can stand on the back of it and feel how loose it is by shifting my weight from side to side. What trailer suspension solutions do you have for this?

Expert Reply:

I would start by checking that your current leaf springs are in good shape, and the the U-bolts are all tight.

If all the suspension checks out then the SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs w/ Line Relocation Bracket - Single Axle - 3K to 5K - Underslung # TSS-106-40 would be the best option if your axle has a 3000-5000lb rating, or the # TTRA1702 if it has a lighter rated axle.

Both options will help to absorb road shock when driving on rough roads, and minimize sway and body roll to give a more enjoyable towing experience.

I included videos for both of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
