2020 Dodge Ram Classic Tradesman. Bought product RP50142-58. The hitch is RP30047 and is 4 hours away. Im trying to install the rails without having to use hitch. How far apart should the rails be in the bed?

The rails on the Reese Quick-Install Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches Item # RP50142-58 should be placed from center to center 22" apart.
