Is My 1996 Champion 552 Boat Too Heavy To Use CE Smith Keel Roller CE29505?

I have a 1996 Campion 552, 19’ I/O fiberglass boat. I understand this roller should just “touch” the boat when the boat is fully on trailer, but how about when there is boat weight on the roller when loading? Is there a weight rating for the roller/bracket?

The CE Smith Keel Roller For Boat Trailers # CE29505 you were looking at does not have a specific weight capacity as it will not carry the fully weight of your 1996 Champion 552 at any time when loading it on your trailer, so it will work just fine.
The # CE29505 should just touch the bottom of the boat to make it easier for the boat to be loaded straight on your trailer, but the bunk boards will be carrying the brunt of the weight of the boat.
