My exhaust fan will not run. I’m not sure what I should replace. The 4 amp fuse seems to be fine. Should I just get a replacement kit? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

It would be time to replace the motor of your Fan-Tastic roof vent LF8000 and for that you'd want the part # FVK8017-00.

Yes it is very possible that the fan motor of your Fan-Tastic roof vent is bad and needs to be replaced. For that we have the part #FVK8017-00 which would get your vent back working again.

I spoke with my contact at Fan-Tastic Vents and she verified that the part #FVK8017-00 is a replacement for your 4000 can style motor. She said they actually have this listed as a fit in their system so you are good to go!

I see what you mean by "bow tie" motor mount as the brackets that hold the motor do resemble that. I wish we had just the mounts available but at this time best solution we can offer would be an all new motor with part #FVK8017-00.
