Goosneck Hitch Recommendation for 1983 Chevy C20 Pickup Truck

Expert Reply:
You can indeed install a gooseneck hitch on a 1983 Chevy 3/4 ton C-Series truck.
B&W offers a compatible Turnover Ball gooseneck hitch which is part # BWGNRK1400. One of the very nice features of the Turnover Ball hitch is that it also provides an attachment point for the excellent B&W Companion 5th wheel hitch like # BWRVK3400-5W for short bed trucks or # BWRVK3500-5W for long bed trucks.
If you'd like to install a 7-way trailer connector in the truck bed so you don't have to run the trailer connector up over the tailgate, you can install one using part # 20023.
