Less Expensive Trailer Hitch than OEM for 2021 Ford Escape
Question:
Rather than have the dealer installer a trailer hitch on my new 2021 Ford Escape, I can save a bundle by doing it myself. It looks much easier than the etrailer hitch I fished bolts through the frame to install on my 2015 Ford Escape. I dont need the wiring since I wont be traveling any distance on public roads. It sounds like I just feed bolts trough the frame lying under the car.

The Curt hitch part # C23FR does fit your 2021 Ford Escape and would be relatively easy to install and cost less than a Ford option. This hitch does require fishwiring bolts but since you've done that before it shouldn't be too bad.
