7-Way Wiring Harness For a 2007 Dodge Durango That Does Not Have Factory Towing Prep

Hi, I have a Dodge Durango 2007 and I am looning for a Universal 7 pole wiring harness. My Durango is not equipped with the towing kit. Do you know of any kit you can recommend me?

I recommend the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness # HM42245 to get the taillight functions for your 2007 Dodge Durango. This Harness will plug into the taillight connectors so that you will not have to splice the wiring on your factory harness. You will end up with a 4-way flat trailer connection.
The Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7 will accept the 4-way from the Hopkins harness and give you the remaining wiring necessary to complete the installation of the 7-way as well as circuit breakers. I have included video links below for this that will include the installation of a brake controller.
I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195 to complete the installation. This controller is easily removable with the detachable mount when you do not need it. It is proprtional controller that will adjust for light and heavy braking once you have it properly adjusted. There is a diagnostic feature to help you troubleshoot issues as well as customize the LCD screen.
