Can the balls be easily removed and replaced? If so, does etrailer carry replacements? Thanks!

The hitch balls for the Diversi-Tech Solid-Tow Adjustable Ball Mount, # DTSTBM6800, are easily removable and replaceable. You simply thread the front allen bolt all the way in, slide the balls out of the ball platform and insert the new hitch balls. I made a short video for you showing how this is done.

We also carry replacement hitch balls. For a 2 inch and 2-5/16 inch ball set, you can use part # DTBM28 and for a 1-7/8 inch and 2 inch ball set, use part # DTBM23.

The balls that come with the adjustable ball mount #DTALBM7025 are fixed in their assembly. On ball mount #DTSTBM7000-2S, you can swap out the balls with #DTBM28 which includes a 2 inch and 2-5/16 inch ball.
