Can The Hitch Balls Of Diversi-Tech Ball Mount # DTALBM6825 Be Replaced
Question:
Can the balls be replaced when they wear out?

Expert Reply:
I contacted the manufacturer about replacing the hitch ball on the # DTALBM6825, which is the self-locking series.
The representative informed me that it is recommended to send in the # DTALBM6825 in the event that the hitch balls need to be replaced.
He also informed me that with the Solid-Tow series, like the Adjustable Solid-Tow Aluminum Ball Mount # DTSTBM6600 you can replace the hitch ball on your own, using the included Allen Key.
The Diversi-Tech Ball Mount, part # DTALBM6825, is a self-locking ball mount that locks to your hitch. If you go with a Solid-Tow Series Ball Mount like # DTSTBM6600, I would recommend using Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # e98882, to keep the ball mount secure to your hitch and prevent theft.
