The Northern Breeze V2525 Roof Vent and all of it's parts have been discontinued so the most cost effective and practical option is to just replace the unit entirely instead of rigging other vent parts to try and fit your needs. I recommend the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan - Manual Lift - 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" - Smoke Item # V2094SP-34 and the installation kit # 344270KITW.

The part #MA00-04751KSX you mentioned having does not have a remote control. Is it possible you have a different MaxxFan? If the remote looks like the part #MA00A01151K that you referenced this would be the correct replacement.
