Wall Control Remote for 4000K Maxxfan Plus Roof Vents
Question:
Information in the operators manual lists a single switch wall control that should work. However I cannot find one of these any where. There are 4,5, and 6 button versions available. They would have more functions than I need, but would they be compatible with the 4000K fan?

I reached out to Maxxair they informed me that the only switch or remote compatable with the MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent part # MA00-04000K is the Replacement Handheld Remote for Maxxair Roof Vent Intake/Exhaust Fans part # MA00A01150K . This will work with your current setup and has a nice hanger that will allow you to attach it to a wall in a convenient location of your choosing so it is readily available.
He stated the line in the operation manual may have been a carry over from another older model fan.

Hi, I had the same question and I was wondering if anyone has confirmed that the remote control will indeed work with the Maxxfan 4000k. There is no mention of the remote option in any literature. I believe that the remote works only with the 4500k and other models designed for it. Any word? Thanks!
