Can I Drill And Mount The CE Smith Fenders To My Existing Fender Tabs?

I have welded tabs that do not line up to per existing holes on fender Can I drill holes in this product ?

Expert Reply:
Yes, you can drill a different set of mounting holes in the CE Smith Single Axle Trailer Fenders # CE19500-2 to mount it to your existing welded tabs. I have attached a picture of them mounted using a different set of mounting holes that a customer shared. They are ridged enough to continue to hold their shape.
You can still use the Mounting Brackets # CE26065PGA or # CE26061G-2 to mount the fenders as well on your frame. These would allow you to fill the holes and provide additional support to the fender.
