Will the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar Help Reduce Sway on a 2012 Ram 1500

Will this sway bar help with trailering? I am adding better shocks and struts to help with the sway would this addition also aid in stabilizing the rear of truck?

Yes, the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1129-135 that you referenced will help reduce sway and help stabilize the vehicle, especially with the other suspension components that you are also upgrading.

However, a properly loaded trailer is the best defense against trailer sway. You will want to make sure you have as much weight as far forward on the trailer as possible.

Another option you have to fight sway is a weight distribution system. Weight distribution systems do what their name implies and distribute the weight that is on the rear axle of the tow vehicle to the front axles as well. This greatly reduces sway and improves nearly every aspect of ride quality when towing.

In order to pick out a weight distribution system the most important factor to know is the loaded tongue weight of the setup when ready to tow. This includes the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle.
