Recommended Tow Dolly For 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan

I have a 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan that I’d like to tow behind an RV. Will a tow dolly handle this vehicle GVWR 6050? I know it can’t be flat towed since it is front wheel drive. Thank you.

A tow dolly will be able to handle the weight of your 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan, but you will actually determine that by the curb weight instead of the GVWR.

The GVWR is the maximum the vehicle can weigh, where the curb weight is the weight of the vehicle unloaded which is how it will be when being flat towed.

Since the curb weight of your Grand Caravan is 4300-4400lbs you will need the Demco Kar Kaddy X Tow Dolly w/ Disc Brakes - Tilt Bed Frame - 4,800 lbs - Wide Tread # DM9713093 which is rated for vehicles up to 4800lbs.

The width of your vehicle is 65.6" which will fit the # DM9713093 perfectly as it fits vehicles up to 78" wide.
