Does the Curt Hitch Work On a 2021 Toyota Sienna with Hands Free Liftgate Feature
Question:
Can you offer a definitive answer on whether installation of the C22UR on 2021 Toyota Sienna Limited will interfere with the kick open feature on the rear lift gate? If there is interference, does it 1 render the kick open feature completely useless such that it will not function at all when kickedinch or 2 just require the kick to be slightly to the left or right, but result in a lift gate that will still open with a well placed kick?

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C22UR will work on a 2021 Toyota Sienna with hands free liftgate feature. They will not block the sensors completely but the hitch does slightly interfere. Basically, you most likely just need to place your foot on ether side of the receiver tube opening and you'll be fine. That said, we do not have any actual testing with this specific feature.
