Fit of Thule Apex Swing Bike Rack TH9026XT on 2013 Subaru Outback Wagon
Question:
Will Vertex Swing 9031 fit 2013 Subaru Outback?

In order to fit your Subaru Outback Wagon, the distance between the hitch pin hole in your hitch receiver and the furthest rearward point of your back bumper needs to be less than 8 inches. The shank on the Thule # TH9026XT Apex Swing is pretty long, so it should fit just fine but I would recommend measuring just to be sure (the FAQ article I've linked for you shows exactly how and where to measure.)
If you look at the photo I have edited for you, you can see how to take the measurement. If the measurement you get is less than 8-1/2 inches, the rack will work just great on your Outback Wagon.
To carry womens bikes or bikes with sharply angled top tubes or step-through frames, using a frame adapter like part # TH982XT is recommended. The adapter spans the distance between the seat post and the handle bar gooseneck, and provides a level attachment point to the bike rack so the bike has greater ground clearance and is not carried at an angle.
I have linked you to a product demonstration video for the rack and the frame adapter.
