Correct Slide Topper For A 79" Wide Slide Out Including Flanges
Question:
My slide width at flanges is 79”. Per your instructions the correct ion is one that has fabric width of 79”. Other areas I read that I should have at least 2” on either side of slide out. I have a rail that would accommodate the next size up of 7’1” 85”. This would provide me 3” on either side. Would this be an issue with mounting hardware or anything else? I have adequate clearance for the wider cover.

We recommend at least 2" of over hang. If your slide box is 79" from outer edge to outer edge including the flange then you are correct, the Solera RV Slide-Out Awning Item # LCV000165062 would be the one you would want to put on to provide that recommended over hang.
