How to Get a Little More Height When Installing the Stealth Hitches SH33VR
Question:
I have 2018 BMW 328d xdrive Sport Wagon. I like the features of this hitch kit, I have a couple of questions. I plan on purchasing a single row folding Motorcycle trailer, The details are 380 lb weight with 1000 lb capacity. Exactly what I need. The specifications on the trailer require a 19-21inch ball height. This hitch says 18inch to the top of the ball. So how do I make this work? Is there a different hitch ball to raise it it 19-21? Is that a good idea safety, strength wise? Im very new to this and would appreciate your recomendation. Thank You

The Stealth Hitch # SH33VR will definitely fit your 2018 BMW 328d xDrive Sports Wagon, but the included ball will only get you to 18 1/2 inches when measuring from the ground to the top of the ball. I went through all our replacement parts for Stealth Hitches, but this will be the highest rise they offer. That being said, I did find an option that will get you to the needed height.
The Curt Hitch Ball # C40034 will actually raise the ball up 2 more inches. This would replace the ball that comes with the # SH33VR and get your towing height to 20 1/2 inches. With the trailer requiring a 19 to 21 inch ball height, you do want to be as close to or in between these measurements as possible. This will keep the trailer as level as possible, which will make for a better towing experience.
