Does this Reliance controller have to be mounted horizontally like other Hopkins controllers on your site?

Since the Hopkins Reliance Trailer Brake Controller you mentioned is a time delayed trailer brake controller, it can be mounted at any angle. Proportonal controllers require a specific mounting angle as the internal inertia sensor requires it to be level on the horizontal plane for accurate braking.
