Carrier Air V A/C Replacement with Atwood Air Conditioner

Question:

I have a 2009 Open Range 385RLS with a ducted Carrier Air V A/C in the main living area. This unit operates with the remote, no wall thermostat, and also controls the furnace. The furnace is an Atwood, not sure of the model. I would like to replace this unit and have a wall mounted thermostat that will control both the A/C and furnace. Is this something that can be done? Im not sure what wiring would be required to add the thermostat or if I can even run new wiring. I believe there are two blue wires in the ceiling that control the furnace, but havent opened it up to verify. Any guidance would be appreciated. The thermostat in the ceiling isnt very accurate.

I recommend the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System - Single Zone - 13,500 Btu - White
Item # ADV94FR.

Per the manufacturer it will work with your Atwood furnace with no issues and it comes with a remote and a wall thermostat that will control the furnace. You're correct that there is two blue wires that you'll need to connect to.
