Lippert Power Stabilizer Operate w/ Dead Battery and Shore Power
Question:
Hello - Shouldnt my Lippert Power Stabilizers extend and retract evenly with a dead battery as long as my RV Jayco White Hawk is connected to a 120V power source?

Expert Reply:
The Lippert High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack, # LC369774, draws its needed energy from the battery not shore power. The battery requires a minimum of 12.5V to operate properly. The motor will not operate at all below 12V (at this point safety circuitry engages to prevent damage to electronics.). Even if you have shore power charging the battery, you need to a see a state of charge on the battery of at least that 12.5V range.
Hope this helps, Happy Camping.
