Best Suspension Enhancement for 2016 Ford F-150 Towing Trailer
Question:
Interested in Sumo Springs model ssr-117-47. Manufacturers website information which is terrible says for 4x4. Are these actually compatible with 2 wheel drive? I have been towing a travel trailer for a few years and would like to reduce the bounce of road transitions and reduce the rear end sag even with WDH. I have a 2016 super crew F150 with Max tow and 6.5’ bed, 2WD. Thanks for any help.

The SumoSprings part # SSR-117-47 does fit the 4 wheel drive versions of the 2016 Ford F-150 but for a 2WD you'd want the part # SSR-116-47. But if you wanted the ultimate in suspension support, ride quality, and stability the best solution is the RAS part # RAS3611-Y. Other options like the SumoSpring will do a decent job with additional support but they don't improve ride quality and stability loaded and unloaded like the RAS systems do.
