Troubleshooting Trailer Where Turn Signals Come On When Brakes Are Applied
Question:
I have two trailers and two trucks.all the lights work except when I turn on lights and hit the brakes.both blinkers come on turn off lights blinkers work fine.turn on blinker hit brakes both blinkers come on.same on both trailers and trucks

It sounds like your trailers are running on a 2-wire system and have separate turn signals which would be used on a 3-wire system.
To correct this you will need the Vehicle to Vehicle Tail Light Converter # 118158 which will separate the turn signal and brake light wires which will allow you to rewire the lights to where only the turn signal feed is being sent to the turn signals to correct the issues you are having.
