Comparing Curt A25 and Curt Q25 5th Wheel Hitch for a 2021 Ram 3500
Question:
Hoping you can help me understand the difference between the following Curt Q24 hitches: Code: C16046 and Code: C16545-16021. Other than one having a slightly higher allowable tongue weight Im not sure I get the differences. Thanks,

There are several differences between the Curt A25 part # C16046 and Curt Q25 part # C16545-16021 for a 2021 Ram 3500. The most notable is the jaw design. The A-Series has a dual interlocking jaw system which forms a much tighter grip on the kin pin therefore provides a smoother ride. The Q-Series has dual locking jaws but they don't interlock. The A-Series also has a one pin head removal system which helps when frequently installing or removing the hitch. The dampening mechanism built-into the head is different as well. The A-Series is the newer model and what I recommend.
