Is Fascia Modification Required to Install a Draw-Tite Hitch on a 2012 Mustang California Special

Will I need to modify my fascia? The fascia for the CS is different than the normal GT.

I do have some information that will help determine if you will need to modify the fascia on your 2012 Ford Mustang California Special, however, I spoke with my contact at Draw-Tite and he did not have any specific information regarding the fascia modification required for your model.
I can tell you that the top of the receiver tube will sit 8-3/8 inches below the center of the rearmost bolt hole on the frame rail (see photo). If you measure 8-3/8 inches down from the rearmost bolt hole for the trailer hitch on your frame, that should give you a good idea where the receiver for this trailer hitch will sit. If your bumper fascia sits lower than 8-3/8 inches, you may need to trim or bend your fascia to allow the receiver tube to fit.
On some models, trimming is not necessary, you can simply fold or bend the fascia on top of the receiver.
