Using a Timbren Suspension Enhancement System to Level a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 Towing a 5th Wheel

Question:

! own a 2012 Dodge Ram Quad 1500 Pickup Truck that I pull a Jayco 5th wheel. When I hook up the trailer the bed of the truck squats down, but not were I cant pull it down the road. It pulls very nice with no real problem of bottoming out, but I would like my truck to be more level. Would the Timberen product work or should I look towards air lifting products. The Jayco is a 2007 that weighs 7,795 with Dry Hitch weight of 1,495.Tthe GVWR is 9,200. My truck of course is set up with a factory trailer package and the heavier duty rear end axle.

Using a Timbren system like # TDR1500DQ would be my exact recommendation for this application. The Timbren system is going to do exactly what you need it to. It will take out that squat you are getting. It will also help with body roll and stability and increase the longevity of your suspension. I have included a link to the installation instructions, a video, and an FAQ on Timbren systems.

Air systems are great if you are carrying a lot of different load shapes and sizes but one problem you run into is compatibility with where they mount and interference with the 5th wheel hitch mounts under the bed of the truck. With the Timbren system, you will not have to worry about that problem.
