Recommendation For Retainer Ring to Hold Wobble Roller to 3/4-Inch Shaft
Question:
It shows that every wobble roller by yates, regardless of the shaft size, uses part 10981 for the retainer ring. Am I suppose to squeeze these rings to fit my shaft of 3/4. No matter the shaft size, your site calls for this larger retainer ring???????? An oversight on your part?? Im sure they must carry a retainer ring for a 3/4inch shaft???

The CE Smith Wobble Roller Retainer Ring, part # CE10981, can be used for 1-1/8 inch shaft size and 3/4-inch shaft size. You will need to choose the correct size washer along with the retainer ring for installation on your 3/4 -inch shaft. The washer you will need is the CE Smith Wobble Roller Washer for 3/4-Inch Shaft, part # CE10983.
You will slide the wobble roller onto the shaft then use the correct size washer for the size shaft you have. Then, you will put the retainer ring around the shaft and squeeze the open ends of the ring around the shaft til it holds the washer and roller to the shaft, but will still allow the roller to spin freely.
I am including a link to a previously answered question that includes a video showing how the retainer ring will be installed.
I will have the information updated on our website.
