How To Use Progressive Dynamics Might Mini AC/DC Panel And Converter With Lithium Batteries
Question:
I was told that by switching the jumper pin over one, on my pd4060k board of my power center, that I would be all set for a lithium battery in my rv. Would you agree or should i be purchasing a different board? ...the 14.6 volts will remain. The amperage going to the battery for charging cuts off, but not the voltage. This is GREEK to me...

The Progressive Dynamics Mighty Mini AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger - 60 Amp # PD4060K that you have is designed for use with Lithium and Lead Acid. There is a switch in the top left corner under the cover that will switch from Lead Acid to Lithium, but there is also a jumper wire that needs moved as you mentioned. However, my contact at Progressive Dynamics mentioned that it is against safety regulations to tell a customer how to move the jumper wire. The procedure would be to send in the unit and they will move it from LA to LI (lead acid to lithium).
