B&W Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitch for 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500
Question:
Hello, I’m considering this BandW gooseneck hitch for my 2021 Silverado 1500. I am wondering if you could tell me the weight of the installed product to help me as I calculate my payload with the hitch. I assume it’s heavier than the custom above bed rails kits but hopefully not by much? Also, during the install I see that several heat shields are moved or cut or left off after. Are these essential or will there be any effect to the components of the truck as a result? Thank you!

The B&W Turonver Ball Gooseneck hitch, part # BWGNRK1019 is a confirmed fit for your 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500. Minus the shipping boxes, the hitch weighs about 95 lbs which is pretty typical for a gooseneck hitch.
The removal or alteration of the heat shields isn't a problem, because once they're removed, the hitch itself or the mounting bracketry act as a heat shield which will work a lot better than the paper thin metal the heat shields are constructed of.
If you'd like to install a 7-way trailer connector in the truck bed, you can do so using part # C56000.
