What Spindle Dimensions Does Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly AKHD-545-35-K Fit

Question:

Hi there, I am working with a 1959 Shasta vintage trailer. It has the original 4 axle that is reasonably heavy duty. I just replaced the drum brakes and would like to replace the integrated hub/drum. This looks like it should work: AKHD-545-35-K However, I am wondering if you can tell me what/how to measure my axle spindle to make sure the bearings/internal sizing of this hub will fit? Thanks!

For a trailer as old as yours I can say that it's pretty unlikely any of the hubs made currently are going to fit since designs have changed since then. But someone could have updated the axle to something newer so you never know.

So the spindle of your axle would need to have diameters of 1.378 and 1.063 where the bearings ride for hub # AKHD-545-35-K to fit.
