Where to Attach Red Wire From Brake Controller Wiring Harness on 2014 Ram 1500
Question:
Hello. I purchased the tow pro liberty and harness # TM75295, for my 2014 ram 1500. The instructions say the red wire must be connected to the 3rd brake light wire. Does that mean I need to run the wire from under the dash, up and inside the A-pillar and the headliner to gain access to the 3rd brake wire, or is there a better way of doing it? Thank You

Actually, there is an easier way of connecting that wire in order to install the # RED24FR Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty brake controller.
If you look up above the brake pedal, you'll see a small white connector. I'll link you to a video and a photo showing where the connector is located. You can use the quick splice connector included with your
# TM75295 to tap that red brake controller wire into the wire feeding the connector shown in the photo.
