Question:

hubs for ez lube axles are cheaper then hubs for std. axles, but appear the same. Why should I consider std hubs for my std. axles?

Actually the only difference between EZ lube hubs and non-EZ lube hubs is the grease cap that comes with the hub. What capacity axle do you have and what wheel bolt pattern?

For an idler hub you'd want the part # AKIHUB-5475-35-K or for a hub/drum # AKHD-5475-35-K and you'd be set.
