Replacement Repair Parts for Older Roadmaster Sterling Tow Bar

I have an older Sterling tow bar- the only numbers that I could see was 02RNBL2882? is this the serial number? I want to rebuild the bar, there may have been a sticker that has come off. Any way the only other identification is that its silver and has a decal on each bar that says Precision engineered Sterling? The shafts are difficult to slide back in and I have some slop in the yoke and the shaft ends. I assume that I will need the -30 and -40 and 2 of the split bushings? Please advise so I can get the proper parts ordered. Thanks

The number you mentioned is not a serial number, though if you had the newer Sterling All-Terrain, the decal would say "All-Terrain" right under the Sterling, so if that's not there I'm pretty confident you have the older Sterling as opposed to the newer All-Terrain version. So you are correct with the parts you will need, which you did mention:

- Complete Repair Kit for Roadmaster Sterling Tow Bar # RM-910003-30

- Inner Arm Bushing Kit for Roadmaster Sterling Tow Bars # RM-910003-40

It sounds like you are referring to the inner arm bushings that come with the kit part #RM-910003-40. This kit is a fit for your Sterling and comes with the seals you referenced.

Yes we have confirmed with Roadmaster that the shank #910019-40 does fit the Roadmaster Sterling models that had a 6k capacity so this would work.

For your Roadmaster Sterling tow bar with serial number 009061 you would want the rebuild kit part #RM-910003-30 and then two sets of the bushing kit #RM-910003-40 and #RM-200029-00 like you mentioned and you'd be set.
