Powering my Trailer Dome Lights Through my Vehicles Wiring

Question:

I know there is a way to use a 12 volt car battery wire a female or car side 7 way just to turn on the dome lights and stock parts

You can absolutely power your trailer from your vehicles battery. You can use the Pollak Black Plastic 7-Pole Trailer Connector part # PK12706 and run a wire from the 12 volt power position to the power wires you are looking to power.

As a better solution or at least one I find much easier. The Trailer Wiring 7-Way Upgrade Kit w/ Junction Box and RV Style Connector part # HS381-9000 allows you to connect your current trailers wiring inside this clean and neat weather resistant box. This gives you a connection point too connect all of the power needs you have to a single terminal and power your lights through the vehicle.
