Hitch and Wiring Harness for Prius SE 2019 AWD
Question:
what wiring harness an hitch do you recommend for the AWD?

For your Prius I recommend the Draw-Tite # 24966 Sport Frame Hitch. I think the Draw-Tite hitch is hidden better under the rear bumper fascia and does not require support straps to additionally be used. I have included a link to an install video for a 2018 model which will be the same as yours. You may find the install work a little easier with a trim pad removal tool # ALL648544
Since you are asking for a trailer light wiring harness you must want to tow a small trailer. For that you will need a ball mount # 3594, a hitch ball #19256, and 1/2” hitch pin # F-4 to hold it all together. This pin will come in handy if you decide to get a rear hitch bike rack too.
For a wiring harness I recommend the Curt #C69KR T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, which is especially made for the AWD version of the Prius. I like the Curt T-Connector wiring kits as they are easy to install without any drilling or wire splicing. This kit also includes a converter which isolates your vehicle electrical system from that of the trailer. I have included a link to a video review of this harness as well.
